SUCCESS? IT SURE WAS!
MANY, MANY PEOPLE VOLUNTEERED TO PUT ON DORMONT DUNGEON!
THEY DID A SPECTACULAR JOB....EVERY ONE OF THEM! and they were from Dormont, Castle Shannon, Baldwin, Greentree, Scott Township, North Hills, Pleasant Hills, Banksville, South Side, Beachview and Mt. Lebanon!!!! (Did I forget one...let me know!) Amazingly...people just walking by (SAL from Beachview) stopped and helped us for 3 hours another man and his daughter WE NEVER MET came back and did an AMAZING JOB OF HELPING US SET UP! We (especially my sons Brady & Jon) became very frustrated by the wind from the largest storm to ever hit the United States inland (figures right) but we were persistant, accomplished our goal and it turned out WONDERFULLY!
We started with absolutely NOTHING and turned it into something because of EVERYONE'S INVOLVEMENT AND HELP! It was ABSOLUTE FUN FOR ALL INVOLVED!
THANKS SO MUCH EVERYONE!
The Mayor of Dormont, the Honorable Thomas Lloyd, said he thinks it should be an annual thing! Wow! Right? :D (and we purposely tried NOT to scare him...lol!
THERE ARE A WHOLE LOT OF AMAZING, KIND HEARTED, PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD!
